It is always important that you immediately inform us of any changes in your insurance coverage or your address. Your insurance coverage is an agreement between you and your insurance company. Please realize that the majority of insurance companies will not give us access to the details of your plan directly. By providing us with accurate and up to date information, you can help us to help you receive the reimbursement from your insurance company promptly.
We are more than happy to process your insurance claim so you can be reimbursed directly, but we do require payment on the day of the appointment before you leave the office. We accept cash, debit, MasterCard, American Express and Visa. By paying with a credit card, our patients often do not have to provide out-of-pocket payment since they receive the insurance cheques or direct deposits (usually within 1-5 days when we file electronically, 5 – 10 days for plans that do not subscribe to electronic claim submission software) prior to receiving a credit card statement – your insurance money is already in your account to pay off your credit card conveniently and hassle-free. We’ll do everything we can to make sure you can get the benefits from the insurance company you deserve with your assistance.
We must emphasize that as dental care providers, our relationship is with you, not your insurance company. While the filing of insurance claims is a courtesy that we extend to our patients, all charges are your responsibility on the date the services are rendered.
